According to The Star, Wrexham are interested in signing Sheffield United's 28-year-old English midfielder Callum O’Hare before the transfer deadline on Tuesday. The club is reportedly seeking to strengthen its squad for an effort to gain promotion under Phil Parkinson, following a start without a win in their first three Championship matches. A new attacking midfielder is a priority for the club. O'Hare joined the club in July 2024 and is considered an important part of United’s own promotion ambitions. His contract is set to run until 2028. His importance to the team increased following Gus Hamer's move to Coventry City, and any approach from Wrexham late in the transfer window would be a significant challenge for Sheffield United's owners. Southampton have also been reported as interested in the player. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €5.00m.
