FC Porto is interested in Caleb Yirenkyi, a 20-year-old Ghanaian midfielder from Nordsjaelland, as a potential addition to their midfield for the 2026/27 season. The club has been monitoring him since last year and views him as a possible replacement for Fofana. However, he is currently considered a very expensive target. Nordsjaelland is asking for a transfer fee of 30 million euros or more. Yirenkyi, who has 10 caps for Ghana, is under contract with the Danish club until June 2030 and has a current market value of €10.00m, according to Transfermarkt. He has also drawn interest from other clubs, including Galatasaray and several from the Premier League.
