Olympiakos's new sporting director, Antonio Cordón, has proposed 33-year-old Spanish centre-forward Borja Iglesias, a player he had also targeted during a previous tenure. The experienced forward is one of several options on the club's list, and Olympiakos is examining the circumstances as Iglesias has lost his place in the starting lineup at Celta, which he joined in August 2025. His contract with the club expires in June 2027 and he has nine caps for Spain. Borja Iglesias's current Transfermarkt market value is €2.80m.
