Olympiacos is pursuing the acquisition of 21-year-old Ivorian attacking midfielder Alexandre Zaouai from Bastia, which he joined in July 2025 and where he is under contract until 2029. The player was reportedly close to a transfer to Aris recently. Negotiations are taking place for a deal that could be concluded for approximately €2 million, with Zaouai intended to initially play for Olympiacos B. The player has reportedly agreed to a four-year contract. Journalist Marc Mechenoua specified that Olympiacos is in a leading position to sign the player, with ongoing negotiations for a fee slightly above €2 million, and also confirmed that the Ivorian has agreed to a four-year deal. Turkish club Konyaspor has also been linked with the player. His current market value is €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
