Ben Wilmot has signed a new three-year contract with Stoke City. Stoke had previously triggered a 12-month extension for the 26-year-old defender. The new deal has a term ending in 2029 at the bet365 Stadium and includes a club option for a further season.

Ben Wilmot will remain at Stoke City for a sixth season due to the activation of a one-year renewal option exercised during the past season.

Stoke on Trent Live states that Stoke City are triggering a contract extension option in the contract of 26-year-old centre-back Ben Wilmot, which will keep him at the club until 2027. The English and Irish defender joined the club in July 2021. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €5.50m. He has also been capped four times for the England U21 team and has scored one goal.
