According to Fanatik, Galatasaray has initiated an attempt for Alverca's Bastien Meupiyou following a recent transfer meeting and at the request of coach Okan Buruk. It is reported that negotiations are underway with his club and that the club is demanding 15 million euro.

Galatasaray is interested in Alverca's 20-year-old French and Cameroonian centre-back, Bastien Meupiyou, for whom the club is asking for a €15 million fee. The France U18 international joined the Portuguese club in July 2025 and made 30 appearances in Liga Portugal last season. His contract runs until 2028, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €7.00m. West Ham United, Napoli, and Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with the player.
