On Sunday morning, Eindhovens Dagblad reported that Sparta Rotterdam's Cape Verdean and Dutch winger Ayoni Santos is being considered by PSV as the club seeks midfield reinforcements. According to the report, the 21-year-old is considered one of the options following a strong debut season in the Eredivisie, though interest from the Eindhoven club is not yet concrete. It was also noted by the publication that with the current squad, it is not immediately likely he would secure a starting position. VoetbalPrimeur had previously reported in June that a transfer was anticipated for Santos, but interested clubs did not follow through.
