PSV unsuccessfully attempted to sign 27-year-old Czech Republic international Ladislav Krejčí from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the final days of the transfer window. The club approached Wolves for the centre-back, but the effort was rejected. Krejčí joined Wolves in July 2026, signing a contract until 2030, and several English clubs were also linked with him.
