It is reported that Anderlecht is among several clubs interested in signing 18-year-old winger Ayodele Thomas from PSV on a free transfer, as his contract expires after this season. Thomas holds both Dutch and Nigerian citizenship. The Dutch youth international has 7 caps and 2 goals for the Netherlands U19 team, and has scored three goals and provided six assists in eighteen matches for Jong PSV. Anderlecht faces competition from Club Brugge, as well as German clubs Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt. While PSV hopes to extend his contract, other Dutch teams are also monitoring the situation, including AZ, his former youth club Feyenoord, and Ajax, for whom he may not be a top priority. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €650k.
