Axel Henriksson, a 24-year-old Blackburn Rovers midfielder, is set to join Danish Superliga side Randers, although his former club GAIS made contact about a potential reunion a couple of weeks ago. The move will be an initial loan with an agreed-upon option to make it permanent. The Swede was free to leave after a difficult first year at Ewood Park. Henriksson joined Blackburn from GAIS in August 2025 for a reported fee of €860,000, and his contract with the English club runs until 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.00m.
