Engels is on a shortlist as the club assesses alternatives in central midfield, with Leipzig also monitoring Ardon Jashari, but their priority is signing Rocco Reitz. There is no suggestion that Celtic are preparing for Engels to leave, and he continues to train, play, and be selected as normal.
