Arnaud Kalimuendo Transfer from Rennes to Tottenham Hotspur

Arnaud Kalimuendo, despite having a contract until 2027, could leave Rennes this summer. He has been linked with multiple clubs including Tottenham. Rennes are open to his departure but require at least 30 million euros for the transfer.

Team Talk reports on Tottenham's interest in adding Kalimuendo to their squad. Tottenham, under new manager Thomas Frank, view Kalimuendo as a dynamic addition to complement their attacking options, especially with uncertainties surrounding Richarlison and Son Heung-min’s futures. Frank has been strong in asking the board for more reinforcements before the transfer deadline. Kalimuendo figures highly on Spurs’ shortlist but they must move quickly to strike a deal amid growing rival interest.

Tottenham hold concrete interest in talented Rennes striker Arnaud Kalimuendo. The 23-year-old notched an impressive 17 goals and four assists in Ligue 1 last season, capturing the attention of several Premier League sides. RMC Sport claim that Rennes will demand a minimum of €30million (£26m / $35m) for Kalimuendo, and the French club are ‘already looking’ for a replacement.

Tottenham is taking steps to act on their interest in Arnaud Kalimuendo by reaching out to Rennes to initiate negotiations. While an official offer has not yet been made, Tottenham aims to understand Rennes' requirements for the player, who netted 18 goals in 34 appearances across all competitions last season. The 23-year-old forward, who is contracted with Rennes until June 2027, has also caught the early attention of Bayer Leverkusen and Newcastle. However, neither club has moved beyond initial discussions. In recent hours, Tottenham has chosen to intensify their pursuit to secure Kalimuendo's transfer.
