Portsmouth are one of four Championship clubs, which also include Norwich City, Watford, and Lincoln City, that are interested in a potential summer transfer for Plymouth Argyle's Canadian and English striker Bim Pepple. The 23-year-old is also linked with clubs in the MLS and mainland Europe, in addition to the Scottish club Rangers. It is said that some of the interested parties are prepared to triple Pepple's current salary. Plymouth manager Tom Cleverley has confirmed that the striker's contract contains a release clause of an unclear value, which could be activated by interested sides in the coming weeks. Pepple, who joined Plymouth in July 2025, has yet to be capped by Canada at senior level and has a current market value of €175k according to Transfermarkt.
