Hoxha added that Dinamo means everything to him and that he has a new contract, status, good performances, and goals. Puljić also commented that it is not known what would have happened if Hull City had been allowed to register players at that time, or whether that interest would have been realized. He stated that this is now in the past. According to Puljić, Hoxha stayed, is playing very well, and the price for which Dinamo would have sold him back then is lower than it would be now if new offers come in. Puljić also stated the price will be especially higher if Hoxha manages to go to the World Cup with the national team.

Sportske Novosti reported that Hull City is under a ban on paying transfer fees for players. The report added that if the ban were not in place, Arbër Hoxha would already be at MKM Stadium.

Jakirović confirmed that he personally wanted to bring Arbër Hoxha to Hull City this summer, but they were prevented due to an embargo.
