Tuttomercato has reported that Parma is interested in permanently acquiring Antonio Vergara from Napoli. The club has inquired about the possibility of purchasing the 22-year-old Italian. Parma, along with Fiorentina, has shown interest in acquiring Vergara on a permanent basis, partially influenced by Fiorentina's technical director, Roberto Goretti, who has connections to Reggio Emilia, where Vergara has been playing. Vergara, who has recently extended his contract with Napoli until June 2027, is noted for his versatility, being able to play as a midfielder, attacking midfielder, or winger. Parma's interest is said to align with Vergara's own desire to play in Serie A. His market value is currently estimated at €2.20m by Transfermarkt.
