Sunderland and Celtic are both interested in Lecce defender Antonino Gallo. Both Sunderland and Celtic want to strengthen their full-back options and have been monitoring the left-back. Sunderland's manager, Regis Le Bris, is seeking cover for Reinildo Mandava after allowing Arthur Masuaka to join French club Lens on loan until the end of the season. The Italian defender, a former Italy U21 international, has made 22 appearances and provided one assist in Serie A this season. Gallo joined Lecce in July 2019, his contract expires in June 2026, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €4.00m.
