Turkish media has reported that Anthony Martial is being targeted by two Turkish football clubs, Başakşehir and Trabzonspor. According to journalist Ersan Serdal, these clubs have shown interest in the French forward, who currently plays for AEK. Martial transferred to AEK last summer on a free transfer from Manchester United, signing a three-year contract. This season, he made 23 appearances, netting nine goals and providing two assists. Additionally, his agent has been actively presenting him to Turkish clubs. Başakşehir has qualified for the Conference League qualifiers, whereas Trabzonspor finished in 7th place and did not qualify for European competitions.
