Angus Gunn Transfer from Nottingham Forest to Celtic
Former Scotland international Kevin Gallacher has said that Celtic are targeting Nottingham Forest goalkeeper and Scotland international Angus Gunn. The 29-year-old, who joined the Premier League side from Norwich City on a free transfer last summer, has not made any appearances and is reportedly third choice at his club. Gunn is being considered as a potential replacement for 38-year-old Kasper Schmeichel, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the season. In a statement to the Sunday Post, Gallacher said that Celtic have been credited with looking at Gunn as a replacement for the 2026-27 season. Gallacher also urged Gunn to find a loan move in January before any potential transfer to the Glasgow club. Gunn's contract at Nottingham Forest expires in June 2026. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.20m.
