Ángel Alarcón, a 21-year-old Spanish forward, is on loan at Utrecht from Porto. Utrecht has a non-mandatory purchase option for two million euros for 50% of his rights. The option is expected to be executed after the forward registered 3 goals and 3 assists in 10 Eredivisie appearances this season. Porto can then buy back 40% of that 50% for four million euros. If Utrecht exercises its option, the club will retain 10% of a future sale. Osasuna is monitoring the situation and is aware that either club could acquire the player to then subsequently sell him. Espanyol has also been linked with the player. The former Spain U19 international has a contract with Porto that runs until 2027 and has a current market value of €3.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
