Wrexham midfielder Andy Cannon has joined League One side Burton Albion on loan for the remainder of the season. The 29-year-old has not played this season after sustaining a ruptured ACL last February but is now fully fit, having recently participated in a behind-closed-doors practice game. Manager Phil Parkinson told the club that he wished Cannon all the best, adding that the player had worked very hard to regain fitness and this move gives him the chance to get back to playing first-team football. The English midfielder's contract at Wrexham, which he joined in December 2022, is due to expire in June 2026. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €250k.
