Lommel SK has announced the permanent transfer of 20-year-old winger Álvaro Santos to Atlético Madrid, where he will initially join the B team. Santos was a Spanish youth international at the time of his arrival and moved to Lommel from Celta Vigo's youth setup in the summer of 2023. In two seasons with the club, he made 45 appearances, scoring three goals and providing two assists. The winger spent the previous season on loan at Portuguese second-division side Penafiel before the definitive move.
