Álvaro Morata Transfer from Milan to Getafe
Álvaro Morata has expressed a desire to return to Spain, specifically to play for Getafe, a dream he has had for some time. The president of Getafe, Ángel Torres, stated that they have maintained contact with Morata's family and would welcome him if he decides to leave Galatasaray. Morata has expressed that his decision will be influenced by what makes his family happy.
Alvaro Morata, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Milan, has been offered a position by Getafe. Morata has indicated his interest in returning to Getafe, where he spent part of his youth career. However, his current loan arrangement with Galatasaray, which is set to last until January 2026 with an option to extend until June 2026, complicates the potential transfer. The purchase option starts at 8 million euros, with a possible increase to 9 million euros if the contract is extended. Getafe is unable to match Morata's current salary of 6 million euros per year. Apart from Getafe, Sevilla has also expressed interest in the Spanish striker, but like Getafe, they are unable to meet his current salary expectations. Milan, the owner of Morata's contract, has loaned him to Galatasaray for a fee of 6 million euros, and he is set to stay with the Turkish champions until the conclusion of his loan period. Morata has made it known that he wishes to return to Getafe, but the financial and contractual aspects present significant challenges.
