Everton are reportedly interested in signing English midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has recently become a free agent following the termination of his contract with Besiktas. According to TBR Football, Everton are considered contenders for his signature as he seeks a return to British football. However, they face competition from Leeds United, Burnley, Brentford, and Rangers, who are regarded as the favorites to secure his services. Oxlade-Chamberlain, aged 32, left Liverpool in 2023 and played for Besiktas for two seasons, during which he made 50 appearances and scored five goals before his contract ended. His market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt at €2.1 million, a significant decrease from his peak valuation of €40 million in 2018. Previously, he was involved in a major transfer when he moved from Arsenal to Liverpool for €38 million in 2017.
