According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea is one of four clubs monitoring Manchester City defender Abdukodir Khusanov before the mid-season transfer window. Khusanov recently signed a new five-year contract with City and has started in three of the team's first five Premier League matches of the season. Two of those starts were at right-back. This suggests it may become possible for him to leave, as he has not secured a position in his preferred role under Enzo Maresca.

Chelsea are monitoring Manchester City defender Abdukodir Khusanov ahead of January. The club is seeking defensive reinforcements because they have conceded 12 goals in their first five Premier League games of the season.

According to Aarón Ramiro, Chelsea have made contact with the representatives of Manchester City's Abdukodir Khusanov regarding a potential transfer this summer. The 22-year-old Uzbekistani centre-back has 25 caps for Uzbekistan and his contract runs until 2029. AFC Bournemouth have also been linked with a move for the player, whose current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €35 million.
