Milan plans to exercise its counter-option to re-sign 18-year-old Italian forward Francesco Camarda from Lecce. He will then be evaluated by new coach Ruben Amorim during the first team's pre-season training, and a subsequent loan move to a top-tier Italian club is considered probable to further his development. According to Corriere dello Sport, Frosinone and Parma are the clubs most interested in a temporary deal for the forward.
Camarda made 21 appearances and scored one goal in Serie A last season. The final decision on his destination will depend on the strategic plans Milan's management establishes in the coming weeks, once the directorial team is finalized. Camarda has two senior caps for Italy and is under contract with AC Milan until 2028. His current market value is €15.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
