Napoli have identified Brazilian central midfielder Gabriel Sara as a transfer target as part of a plan to refresh their midfield, rejuvenate the squad, and lower their wage bill. Sara is a 26-year-old Galatasaray player who joined the club in August 2024 and is on the Italian club's list of candidates. Although he is not considered one of the younger options, Sara's Champions League experience, versatility, and goal-scoring ability are viewed as qualities that could make him a significant contributor. The player, who has one cap for Brazil, is under contract until 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €22.00m. Several Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, have also been linked with him.
