The latest transfer updates for Celtic include fresh scouting reports on Dundee United's Will Ferry. Our analysis of the past seven days shows the club has been tied to 18 possible arrivals and 9 potential exits. The hottest storyline right now revolves around Haissem Hassan, and below are the latest developments on some of the most important transfer rumours surrounding the club.

Mika Baur

On Wednesday, it was reported that Celtic are close to completing a £4m deal for German playmaker Mika Baur. According to Record Sport, the club is close to finalising terms with Paderborn, having already agreed personal terms on a four-year contract, and hope to have the Germany under 21 player signed by the weekend. Paderborn boss Ralf Kettemann said it is not surprising for other clubs to notice his players, stating that things have been quiet so far and they are treating the situation as not out of the ordinary. Kettemann added that they have to determine what is best for the club, it is all still hypothetical, and they are in control of the decision.

Will Ferry

According to Courier Sport on Wednesday, Celtic have watched Will Ferry on several occasions, although no formal approach has yet been made to Dundee United. The report claims that scout Tosh McKinlay has watched him in person more than once. Celtic’s interest currently remains at the scouting stage, with no bid submitted. Ferry, who has one year left on his contract, is understood to be one of several left-backs under consideration by the club to provide cover for Kieran Tierney and has also received interest from other clubs, including from the English Championship.

James Penrice

On Wednesday, it was reported that Celtic are in discussions with James Penrice, a full-back for AEK Athens. The club has made an enquiry about the left-back, who is anticipated to cost approximately £4m. The player is reportedly interested in a return to Scotland with the Hoops and, according to sources, is receptive to the move.

Haissem Hassan

An exit from Real Oviedo is a possibility for Haissem Hassan after the club's new manager, Julian Calero, announced a change to a youth focus on Tuesday. Speaking to the media in Spain, Calero insisted that he was prepared to lose key players such as Hassan. According to Sky Sports on Monday, Celtic have made an enquiry to Real Oviedo over a possible deal, with club officials exploring the conditions of a potential move for the forward, who has one year left on his contract. A report from Egyptian outlet Ghomuria on Monday stated that Celtic have submitted a second, 'huge' offer for the player.

Mitchel Bakker

On Friday, a second source in Italy, AtalantaOggi.it, confirmed that Celtic are considering Mitchel Bakker as an option, stating that Martin O’Neill and the recruitment team are actively looking at the player. According to reports in Italy from the same day, a move to Glasgow is approaching for Bakker, with Tuttomercatoweb reporting that Atalanta are attempting to work out an arrangement for his departure. The player's agents reportedly consider Celtic to be the most viable destination for him at this time.

Dinko Horkaš

Las Palmas have not received an offer from Celtic for Dinko Horkaš, according to the Spanish daily Sport on Sunday, despite suggestions that an offer of approximately €4m had been made. The report states that while Celtic are interested and Las Palmas are aware of this, no official offer has been received. Las Palmas have a €10m asking price but could reportedly accept a deal for between €4m and €7m, and it is suggested that a formal offer could lead to a final negotiation.

Cláudio Braga

On Sunday, Pete O’Rourke reported that Celtic are monitoring Cláudio Braga ahead of a potential summer move. Sources told Football Insider on Saturday that the club is planning a move for the Hearts forward, with an offer of around £5million expected to be enough to sign him, although it was also reported the Jambos could seek £8m to £10m for the player.
