According to Globo.com, multiple clubs are interested in the 24-year-old Brazilian defensive midfielder Danilo, with Palmeiras and Zenit having made inquiries in recent weeks. Botafogo rejected a €30 million offer from Fulham in September 2025 and is expected to be willing to sell for an offer equal to or greater than the €23 million they paid for him. Danilo has a contract with Botafogo until June 2029 and previously transferred from Palmeiras to Nottingham Forest in January 2023 for a fee of €20 million.
