In February 2026, Genoa reportedly proposed a loan with a €3 million purchase option, with Brøndby said to be preparing a similar offer. The completed loan to Antwerp from Lyon in September 2025 included a widely reported €3 million purchase option, though some earlier reports mentioned a potential €3.5 million option. In December 2024, it was reported that Lyon would accept a fee in the region of £3.3 million (approximately €3.9 million) from Celtic.
