The Italian club is said to be vying for his signature against competition from England's Arsenal and Aston Villa, along with Borussia Dortmund of Germany. Interest has also reportedly emerged from clubs in the United States. According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Manchester United has a specific plan for the defender and has supposedly allocated €40 million for a potential deal. Debast, whose contract runs until 2029, moved to Sporting from Anderlecht in the summer of 2024 for a transfer fee that could reach €21 million. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €30 million.
