Reports in the Spanish press suggest that following a serious injury to Dani Carvajal, Real Madrid have been offered AS Roma's 28-year-old Turkish right-back Zeki Çelik. An article in Defensa Central states that various intermediaries, particularly from Italy, have recently contacted the club to learn Florentino Perez's thoughts on the right-back position. The same source states that Çelik was then specifically proposed to Real Madrid. Çelik's contract expires in 2026 and has not been renewed.
