Zane Okoro has signed a new long-term contract with Lincoln City before completing a season-long loan move to Tranmere Rovers. Okoro will spend the 2026/27 season at Tranmere Rovers. Tranmere Rovers have confirmed the signing of 19-year-old winger Zane Okoro on a season-long loan from Championship club Lincoln City. The American-born player, who previously had a trial with Premier League side AFC Bournemouth, spent last season on loan at Northern Ireland Football League Premiership club Coleraine, where he made 39 appearances. Tranmere manager Darrell Clarke expressed his delight, describing Okoro as an exciting wide player with pace and attacking qualities. Clarke also stated that the club had been monitoring Okoro for some time. Okoro stated that he was excited to join after hearing of the manager's interest and sees it as a good place to get games and contribute. Clarke added that he feels this is a great opportunity for both the player and the club and thanked Lincoln City for their cooperation in the transfer.
