The Spanish press reports that Stoke City is one of several English clubs interested in Real Zaragoza's Ghanaian midfielder, Yussif Saidu. Stoke and Rapid Vienna are said to have inquired about the availability of the 21-year-old. Leicester City, Burnley, and some German clubs are also reportedly interested. Zaragoza, which was relegated to the third tier last season, had an asking price of €5 million for the player at the beginning of the summer. Turkish Super League suitors Amed SFK were told that a deal would require a €500,000 loan fee with a mandatory €4 million purchase clause. Negotiations did not officially begin, and there had been no contact for a week. Yussif Saidu's contract with Zaragoza is valid until June 30, 2030, and his current market value is €1.00m, according to Transfermarkt. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 31 appearances and scored one goal in LaLiga2.
