A surprise claim has emerged from the Italian press, with a report in Foot Italia stating that Serie A club Atalanta has taken action to sign Galatasaray's Turkish winger, Yunus Akgün. The report further details that Atalanta's coach, Ivan Juric, is very keen on the 25-year-old, viewing him as a replacement for Ademola Lookman, whose future with the team is uncertain. Akgün, who has also been linked with Atlético Madrid, is under contract with the Turkish club until 2029 and has a current market value of €15 million, according to Transfermarkt.
