Spor Depor reported that Amedspor attempted to persuade Besiktas to release Yasin Özcan. Amedspor is managed by Besnik Hasi, who was the former Anderlecht coach of the 20-year-old Turkish centre-back. The approach was made at the end of the transfer window to help relaunch Özcan's career due to his limited playing time. The effort was unsuccessful, and the player remained at Besiktas, which subsequently named him on their UEFA list for the Europa League. According to a report from Reşat Can Özbudak, Amedspor also expressed interest in Mustafa Hekimoğlu from Beşiktaş and Kazımcan Karataş from Galatasaray. Özcan is on loan at Besiktas from Aston Villa until January 2027, with his contract at the Premier League club running until June 2029.
