Chelsea are reportedly interested in a potential transfer for Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari. This interest comes as his contract talks have stalled, creating doubt about him staying at Brighton. According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea are not the only club monitoring Ayari’s situation, and Galatasaray is also among the clubs interested in him. The report from TEAMtalk also states that Galatasaray are looking for midfielders and that Ayari could be an alternative to Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes.

Brighton's Swedish international Yasin Ayari had wanted to leave the team, but a transfer was not completed. After Brighton purchased Chema Andres for the midfield, Ayari's name was linked with both Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray. The 22-year-old midfielder has one year remaining on his contract and has few teams he could potentially join as the transfer window in Europe has closed. The Swedish international has 25 caps and 5 goals for his country. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €40.00m. In January 2026, a reported offer of £20 million from Nottingham Forest was said to have been rejected by Brighton, while in March 2025, the club had reportedly set a potential asking price of €24 million.
