According to Fanatik, Galatasaray has a renewed interest in Winsley Boteli before the winter transfer window, following an unsuccessful attempt to finalize his transfer in the summer. The club has monitored Boteli for a long time and he is on their transfer list. This season, he has scored 13 goals and provided 5 assists in 16 matches across all competitions. His market value is listed as 15 million Euro. Boteli's eligibility for the U23 quota is considered an important advantage in Galatasaray's transfer plan. Before taking further action for the player, making room in the current squad is planned.

Winsley Boteli was the subject of a 30 million euro offer from Galatasaray at the end of the summer transfer window.

Christian Constantin (CC) confirmed that Galatasaray indicated they were ready to consider a sum such as 30 million for Winsley Boteli. CC stated that he had promised Winsley's agent and father a coherent career plan, and said he had informed them that Winsley would not leave Sion this summer.

Galatasaray has identified Winsley Boteli as a target following his strong start to the season with Sion. The Turkish club has initiated talks with Sion for the 20-year-old Swiss-Congolese forward. Boteli was initially on loan at Sion from Mönchengladbach last season before the move was made permanent for 3.5 million euros ahead of the new season. The forward, who has 5 caps and 2 goals for the Switzerland U21 team, has a contract with Sion until June 2030 and a current market value of €5.00m according to Transfermarkt.
