Coritiba is targeting William Machado, a 29-year-old Brazilian defender who currently plays for Ceará and was previously with Operário-PR. The signing is considered a difficult one because his current club is only prepared to release him on a permanent deal, which makes the operation more expensive. Machado's contract with Ceará is valid until the end of 2027, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €1.20m.
