According to talkSPORT, Newcastle United are reportedly interested in English Middlesbrough striker Will Lankshear. This interest follows a period where the 21-year-old has scored 15 goals in 16 appearances in all competitions this season. Lankshear moved to Middlesbrough from Tottenham in the summer and had a loan spell at Oxford United last season. A transfer would mark a return to the Premier League for the striker, but Middlesbrough may be reluctant to sell their top scorer as they are seeking promotion. His contract with the club is valid until June 2031. Lankshear has scored one goal in three appearances for the England U21 team. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €18.00M. Tottenham Hotspur has also been linked with the player.
