Leicester City have signed 31-year-old Wales international winger Wes Burns from Premier League side Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal. The move makes Burns the sixth signing for the club during the summer transfer window. Burns joined Ipswich in July 2021 and has 10 caps for Wales. His current market value is €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt. Burnley and West Bromwich Albion were also linked with the player. Burns said that after speaking with manager Russell Martin, he is excited about the project and the ambition to return the club to its former standing.
