Leicester City have reportedly had a scout in Sweden to observe Örgryte's 22-year-old midfielder, Benjamin Laturnus. OB and FC Twente have also sent scouts to watch the player. This follows interest in the summer from AIK, IK Sirius, and Lillestrøm. Örgryte's sporting director, Pontus Farnerud, told Göteborgs-Posten that it would be strange if clubs were not following the player given his development, but that it is not something the club is currently reflecting on. The Swedish-Canadian central midfielder is under contract with the Allsvenskan side until the end of 2028. Laturnus, who joined Örgryte in January 2026, made 26 appearances, scored one goal, and provided one assist in the 2025/2026 Allsvenskan season.
