Panathinaikos is reportedly preparing an official offer for Vitor Carvalho from Braga, according to sources in Portugal. The 28-year-old midfielder has caught the attention of Panathinaikos' coach, Rui Vitória, who considers Carvalho to be an ideal candidate for the '6' position. Carvalho is reportedly open to the possibility of moving to Greece, especially given the presence of the Portuguese coach. Negotiations are expected to start at 5 million euros, even though his release clause stands at 30 million euros. Carvalho, who has a contract with Braga until 2028, participated in 36 matches this season, scoring 2 goals and providing one assist. He was also a member of the team that clinched the Portuguese League Cup last year. While Panathinaikos has expressed strong interest, they are not the only club considering a move, as Brazilian teams have also shown interest. Nonetheless, the presence of Rui Vitória is believed to be a significant factor in potentially facilitating Carvalho's transfer to Athens.
