Real Madrid are planning for a future without goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. According to Fichajes, they consider Athletic Club’s 29-year-old Spanish goalkeeper Unai Simón to be an ideal replacement. Simón, who has 65 caps for Spain, joined Athletic Bilbao in July 2018 and has a contract that runs until 2029. His market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt to be €22.00m.
