It is reported that Portsmouth are interested in signing Burton Albion's 26-year-old winger, Tyrese Shade, a St. Kitts & Nevis international for whom Lincoln City has already had a bid rejected. Pompey and Charlton Athletic are also competing to sign the forward, who is expected to be sold for a fee of more than £2m. Shade has 9 caps for his country, joined Burton Albion in July 2025, and his contract runs until June 2027. According to reports in August 2026, Lincoln City had multiple bids of approximately €2.4 million rejected. His current market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €250k.
