Preston North End have identified Charlton Athletic's Tyreece Campbell as a target as they seek to strengthen their squad, which is described as thin, before the transfer window ends, having also been linked with other wingers such as Stanley Mills and Romain Esse. According to journalist Alan Nixon, the 22-year-old Jamaican international is on Preston's list of targets. Campbell's position in the starting lineup at Charlton may be less secure following the arrival of two new left wingers, Karlan Grant and Millenic Alli, and his future is described as uncertain. Nixon also suggests that the player could be available for an appropriate fee as the Addicks consider whether to sell him. Campbell, who has eight caps for his country, joined Charlton in July 2022 and has a contract that runs until 2027. His current Transfermarkt market value is €1.50m.
