Racing Club has reached an agreement with Alavés for the transfer of Tomás Conechny. The transfer fee was close to 4 million euros, and Conechny is expected to fly to Argentina in the coming days to sign a contract until December 2029. This move ends his stint in Spain, where he joined Alavés in mid-2024 from Godoy Cruz.

Racing Club is interested in signing Tomás Conechny, who is currently playing for Alavés. Conechny, originally from Comodoro Rivadavia, is 27 years old and joined Alavés in mid-2024 from Godoy Cruz, with Alavés acquiring 50% of his rights and a contract until June 2028. Although there is no formal offer yet, Alavés is open to letting him go. Racing is looking for a forward to replace Maximiliano Salas, who is leaving for River.
