Racing Club is interested in signing Tomás Conechny, who is currently playing for Alavés. Conechny, originally from Comodoro Rivadavia, is 27 years old and joined Alavés in mid-2024 from Godoy Cruz, with Alavés acquiring 50% of his rights and a contract until June 2028. Although there is no formal offer yet, Alavés is open to letting him go. Racing is looking for a forward to replace Maximiliano Salas, who is leaving for River. Conechny is considered a priority along with Adrián "Maravilla" Martínez to fill the attacking vacancy.
