Osasuna has expressed interest in French attacking midfielder Thomas Lemar, aged 29, by making initial inquiries regarding his availability. Lemar, who has been largely absent at Atlético Madrid with only eight appearances in the previous season, is reportedly no longer part of the club's future plans. Atlético is said to be open to releasing him from his contract, which is set to expire in June 2027, in an effort to reduce their salary expenses. In addition to Osasuna, other La Liga clubs such as Girona, Rayo Vallecano, and Celta de Vigo are also reportedly keeping an eye on the situation. Lemar, who previously had a transfer fee of €72 million, now has a market value of €5.00m as per Transfermarkt.
