Ipswich Town have made a proposal for 25-year-old Dutch forward Thijs Dallinga. The exact terms of the offer from Kieran McKenna’s side are not known, but Bologna are reportedly open to his departure, particularly on a permanent deal. Dallinga has not rejected the approach but has delayed making a decision. This is because he is understood to be unenthusiastic about joining a Championship club fighting for promotion, and it is assumed he would prefer the Premier League. Ipswich Town also face competition from La Liga, as Il Resto del Carlino had previously reported interest from Valencia. Bologna have identified Fiorentina’s Lucas Beltran as a potential replacement for the Dutchman. The Netherlands international has one cap for his country and has registered one goal and three assists in 16 Serie A appearances this season. Dallinga joined Bologna from Toulouse in July 2024 for a fee reported to be €15M, and his current contract runs until June 2028. In August 2025, Bologna reportedly rejected offers of approximately €20M from both Lens and Rennes for the striker. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €12.00m.
