Teun Gijselhart has completed a season-long loan move to Al Ain from Deportivo La Coruña. The transfer occurred just months after the La Liga promoted side signed the 21-year-old from De Graafschap for one million euros. Indications that Gijselhart was not in the Spanish club's plans included being assigned a squad number for the second team and his exclusion from the match squad against Getafe.
