According to Tuttomercato, Spanish winger Tete Morente resolved his contract with Lecce before the end of the January 2026 transfer window. U.S. Lecce announced the consensual termination of the contract with the player, José Antonio Morente Oliva. Rayo Vallecano and Elche are reportedly competing to sign Tete Morente as he prepares to return to Spain.

Both Rayo Vallecano and Elche are attempting to sign 29-year-old Spanish winger Tete Morente from Lecce. The Italian club is considering the situation and is expected to decide within a few hours whether to accept losing an offensive player near the end of the winter transfer window.
